Banner Stand Then and Now

Banner stands have long been a staple for trade show exhibitors to advertise their businesses. Over the years, design improvements have given banner stands more versatility. They are available in more types and sizes than ever before. Dimensions can range from a standard 33 inches wide by 83 inches high to an extra-wide 86 inch high banner that can be ordered in widths up to 8 feet. Many professional trade show banner stands also come with eye-catching graphics that are designed to attract as many potential customers as possible.

Trade show participants especially like retractable banner stands, which are much more portable and easy to set up than non-retractable ones in the past. A banner made from durable material that rolls into a protective casing is longer-lasting and less likely to become torn or damaged. Using this type of banner stand is therefore a more cost-effective investment.

Banner stand lights are a relatively new addition used to draw attention to specific products or services showcased on a banner stand. Soft track lights installed above a banner cast illumination that naturally draws people in for a closer look. Smaller spotlights are another option that has been adapted for banner stands; these can be moved around to highlight different banner areas and are easy to install in discrete locations within the framework.

Trade Shows and Pop-Up Displays

If you have never been to a trade show, you might be wondering just exactly what a pop up trade show display is. It is, usually, a banner, or full length backdrop that hangs behind your product. Trade Shows usually provide a venue for people who are looking market their wares to customers, and they are generally wholesale. If you are a budding artisan, or have a product that would do well wholesale trade shows can be an interesting way to meet new customers who might be interested in adding your product to their store or website.

The pop up display is usually at the back of the booth, and can be a great way to get your message out. You can offer a large message about you, your products and or services, and you will want to make sure that it is not all cluttered up around it; taking your customers eyes off the message. Defining a Trade Show

Lately people have been asking me to define the purpose of a trade show technically speaking A trade show can be explained as a popular, focused marketplace occasion that attracts multifarious industries specializing in a particular industry to concurrently display their products or effectively promote their products to get new prospective clients, to broaden their research in the market, establish the generation of sales, obtain industry contacts and widen their business networks and most importantly get a peek at what other companies in similar fields are achieving in terms of sales generation, promotion and market research. The essential aspect of a trade show is to enable the companies to display their services to prospective clients and showing interest in the products offered. It also gives the opportunity for the company to discuss the details of future ventures with the buyers and also helps them to effectively clarify queries instantaneously.

Popular Trade Show Displays

The trade shows display industry definitely has evolved over the last 10 years. Not long ago the trade show display booth industry was cluttered with dull fabric pop up and panel display booths. Don’t get me wrong these booths served there purpose but didn’t allow for much variety or ways to differentiate from other exhibitors. The good news is that the old style booths of yesterday have been redeveloped with a more modern appeal. In addition new products and accessories have been rolled out in order to meet the demand of a growing market. These products have been developed with the end user in mind while offering modern amenities such as LCD screens, lighting and motion. Listed below are some the more popular displays used within the trade show industry.

Pop Up Displays:

The pop up displays are your accordion style displays that setup and collapse easily. These displays are made of light weight aluminum and fabric materials. You can customize the look by adding graphics.

HopUp:

The HopUp is very similar in style to the pop up. This display is also made with a lightweight collapsible frame. However, this booth differs by having dye sub fabric attached to the frame making for faster setup and breakdown while eliminating panel seam lines of the traditional pop up.

ShowMax:

The ShowMax is practical booth for people on the go. This is an all in one table top trade show display combines the transportation case and the booth into one. This table top display is encapsulated with a hard protective shell, that when opened transforms into your table top display.

Allumalite:

The Allumalite is a hybrid booth that takes elements of a custom booth and a modular display and fuses them together. In return creating a lighter weight customized booth that can be reconfigured to fit your booth space. This is a relatively new display that has been on the market for about a year now but seems to be capturing the market fairly quickly.

Truss:

Exhibit Truss systems are structural displays that can be reconfigured into multiple configurations. These displays are usually made from aluminum or steal. The truss exhibit provides a great looking durable exhibit that can be customized to fit your needs.

I’m sure that I missed some of the more popular trade show booths but these are the ones that I have used and have in depth knowledge of. I hope you find this post informative and appealing.
